Now when I turn it on, it finds the remote device in 5-10 seconds after XMBC starts. I put the Pi into a pretty basic Rapberry Pi Case which has a thin slot where the IR receiver is. However, the IR receiver needs a very clear line of sight to work prope By ExE122 2016-05-12 06:06:06

I hooked this up to my Raspberry Pi Model B and turned it on with no case on. It took a little bit of configuration in XBMC, and then a few minutes for it to find the remote for the first time. However, once it did, it worked with the default remote mappings/settings. I didn't need to re-program the buttons or anything.
