This is a great kit for getting started with the Arduino platform. There are tons of sensors, so there are plenty of lessons that will get you into the workings of small robots and electronic tools. As with any electronic kit, they do expect you to have some sort of knowledge of parts and wires. The book does a good job at detailing the lessons. There are pictures, videos, and diagrams.
