Works flawlessly with Mac OS-X High Sierra - no driver issues! By TCups 2018-03-03 03:35:26

Thank you, SunFounder. Long time Mac user, and will always be. Had become interested in the Arduino Uno and compatibles as a hobby, just in time to find out that many of the boards out there don't play well with the Mac OS-X, especially the latest version 10.13.3 High Sierra. Have a small box of several ChiClone Nano's, an a couple of other boards that just don't work with the Mac running High Sierra no matter what I tried. After spending hours online, digging through blogs of users that think I should use the Mac's terminal mode to alter code and "fix" the USB ports, or exchanges with online bloggers, who's best advice was to go back to an earlier Mac OS and not to use the latest version of the Arduino IDE (1.8.6), how happy I was to find that I could actually just plug in to the SunFounder boards and download the SunFounder projects and actually spend time enjoying the learning projects instead of cursing error messages and dead ends I had with other boards with the wrong drivers or no drivers. If you are a Mac user and want to avoid headaches with compatibility of serial/USB ports and IDE software, look no further than the SunFounder Mars, Mega 2560, and Nano V4.0
