Course Introduction
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to use an OLED display and two buttons with the Arduino UNO R4 WIFI to create a Dino Run Game. We’ll use the Adafruit SSD1306 and GFX libraries to draw the game graphics on the screen.
Players can press the red button to jump and the blue button to crouch while avoiding cacti and flying birds. The game also tracks the current score and high score.

If this is your first time working with an Arduino project, we recommend downloading and reviewing the basic materials first.

Wiring

Common Connections:
OLED Display Module
SDA: Connect to SDA on the Arduino.
SCK: Connect to SCL on the Arduino.
GND: Connect to breadboard’s negative power bus.
VCC: Connect to breadboard’s red power bus.
Button 1
Connect to the breadboard’s negative power bus, and the other end to 2 on the Arduino board.
Button 2
Connect to the breadboard’s negative power bus, and the other end to 12 on the Arduino board.
Writing the Code
Note
You can copy this code into Arduino IDE.
To install the library, use the Arduino Library Manager and search for Adafruit SSD1306 and Adafruit GFX and install it.
Don’t forget to select the board(Arduino UNO R4 Minima/WIFI) and the correct port before clicking the Upload button.
